Lake Palestine Map by AID Lake Maps

This map is printed on one side of a sheet of 24"x36" waterproof tear resistant paper. It is a hydrographic map with contour lines at 5, 10, 25, and 35 foot depths. There are also spot depth readings on the map along with shaded depth contours at 0-10 feet, 10-25 feet, and 25-47 feet. The shoreline of Old Lake Palestine is also detailed on the map. A 1/2 minute latitude/longitude grid is included for GPS users.

Lake Palestine is located in the Prairies and Lakes Region of east central Texas, 15 miles southwest of Tyler on Texas 155. It is an impoundment of the Neches River built in 1962. It has a surface area of 25,560 acres and a maximum depth of 58 feet. The Texas Parks and Wildlife reports excellent fishing for catfish and white and striped hybrid bass, and good fishing for largemouth bass and crappie.
