Lake Granbury Map by AID Lake Maps

This map is printed on both sides of a sheet of 23"x36" waterproof tear resistant paper. There are contour lines at the 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48 and 56 foot depths. There are also shaded depths at 0-16 feet, 16-48 feet, and 48-56 feet plus. The map includes a table of GPS coordinates for points of interest and other structures that possibly hold fish.

Lake Granbury is located near the city of Granbury about 30 miles southwest of Fort Worth. Lake Granbury was formed in 1969 when the Brazos River was impounded. It has a surface area of approximately 8300 acres and a maximum depth of 75 feet. Texas Parks and Wildlife reports good fishing for Largemouth Bass, Catfish, White and Striped Bass, and Sunfish. Crappie are also available in fair numbers.
