Lake Cypress Springs Map by AID Lake Maps

This map is printed on one side of a sheet of 24"x36" waterproof tear resistant paper. Countour lines of the lake depths are drawn at 6 foot intervals. There are also shaded depths at 0-18 feet, 18-36 feet, and 36-48 feet. These shaded areas on the map help to identify the shallow and deep parts of the lake.

Lake Cypress Springs is located in the Prairies and Lakes Region of central Texas 15 miles northwest of Pittsburg. Cypress Springs was created with the impoundment of Cypress Creek in 1970. It has a surface area of 3460 acres and a maximum depth of 56 feet.

Texas Parks and Wildlife reports excellent fishing opportunities for Spotted Bass and Crappie and good fishing for Largemouth Bass, Catfish, White Bass, and Sunfish.
