Choke Canyon Reservoir Map by AID Lake Maps

This map is printed on both sides of a 23"x32" sheet of waterproof tear resistant paper. Depth contours are at 10 foot intervals. There are also shaded depths at 0-20 feet, 20-50 feet, and 50-85 feet. The shaded depths quickly identify the shallow and deep parts of the lake. The map also features a latitude/longitude grid for GPS users.

Choke Canyon is located in the South Texas Plains Region in Live Oak and McMullen Counties 4 miles west of the city of Three Rivers. It is part of the Frio River watershed impounded in 1982. It has a surface area of 25,670 acres and a maximum depth of 95 feet.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife reports excellent fishing for Largemouth Bass, Blue & Flathead Catfish, and Channel Catfish and good fishing for Crappie, White Bass, and Sunfish.
