Bob Sandlin and Monticello Lake Map by AID Lake Maps

This map is printed on one side of a 23"x36" sheet of waterproof tear resistant paper. Lake contours are at 6 foot intervals. There are also shaded depths at 0-18 feet, 18-36 feet, and 36-48 feet plus. The map has a latitude/longitude grid for GPS users. Other details on the map include creek channels, mile markers from dam, boat ramps, restricted boating areas, uncleared areas, submerged buildings and roads, and submerged bridges.

Bob Sandlin is located 5 miles southwest of Mount Pleasant in Titus, Camp, and Franklin counties. It is part of Big Cypress Creek. Lake Bob Sandlin has a surface area of 9000 acres and a maximum depth of 65 feet. The Bob Sandlin dam was built in 1977. The Texas Parks and Wildlife reports excellent fishing for White Bass and good fishing for Largemouth Bass, Catfish, Crappie, and Sunfish and fair fishing for Spotted Bass.

Lake Monticello is located in Titus County on Blundell and Smith Creeks in the Cypress River Basin, approximately 10 miles southwest of Mount Pleasant. It has a surface area of 2000 acres and a maximum depth of 40 feet. It was impounded in 1972. The Texas Parks and Wildlife reports excellent fishing for Largemouth Bass and Catfish with good fishing for Sunfish.
